A beautiful day, an unfit bloke and a lovely ride.
I cycled up from Troutbeck up to Borrans and turned left up the road there. A bit further on I turned left on to the bridle path and continued all the way to Kentmere Hall. Kentmere is very pretty but has no pub so it wouldn’t do me as a place to stop

I cycled back along the lake in the picture and then up a very steep hill back to Borrans. Well I say cycled. I admitted defeat half way up and pushed. Oddly I was able to push at the same speed as a girl cycling up on her granny ring and we had a nice chat on the way. I bet she felt superior though
The ride down from Borrans to Limefitt Park back to the log cabin was a blast!
