It’s a bit fierce out there just now with sleet lashing the lodge. It’s amazing how the landscape changes. I love the shapes of the dry-stone walls marking out the characteristic lakeland sheep folds in the snow.

It looks lovely. Watched film of Beatrix Potter yesterday and marveled at the scenery.
Enid – it IS lovely. I think that that film was really an extended commercial for the Lake District – but it’s nice easy watching isn’t it
