We’ve been quite lucky with the weather over the last 10 days, and so it seemed like a good time to try out yet another of my long term dreams. A ride on a motorised trike.

Heaven is a place in Cumbria

So yesterday it was hotter in the Lake District than it was in Corfu. We woke this morning to another gorgeous day. Dappled sunlight coming in through the blinds and birds twittering outside.

Limefitt Park – Troutbeck Lodges

We had breakfast on the deck and saw a deer saunter by.

New, improved badgers at Limefitt Park

We invested £8.99 in a work light from Homebase last week. We clipped it to the rail on the decking,  fired it up and spread out the peanut butter sandwiches.
