We have just taken the decision that all 4 of our luxury pine lodges will be dog-friendly as of the start of next season. We had to think long and hard about it as we know some of you have chosen us in the past because we were pet-free. We get 3 days to enjoy the place but it’s always very busy. We tend to stay around Limefitt Park and leave the honeypots of Ambleside and Bowness for another time. There’s always plenty to see and do – this weekend was a [...] Fantastic news this morning that Dubbs Reservoir, between Ings and Troutbeck, on the fell side just above our Lake District pine lodges has been reborn as a haven for wildlife. Dubbs Reservoir – A New Conservation Area The reservoir used to be an important water source but had fallen into disuse in recent [...] We are really excited to e able to tell you that we are bringing a third lodge on stream (or should that be on “beck”) Dog Friendly log cabin Otter Lodge is in a fantastic position on the river bank at Limefitt Park in Troutbeck. It sleeps 4 people and is pet friendly. [...] We are now taking bookings for the 2010 season. 2009 has already been a great year for UK tourism, and to encourage you all to stay in the UK again next year we are holding our 2009 prices for those who book early with us. Badger by our window We saved our peelings and then made a peanut butter sandwich – yes we spoil them don’t we! As usual this fellow was to intersted by the food to be worried by the [...] I decided to clean our fountain with Fairy Liquid this weekend. The results were quite impressive. Well I’ve just returned from a glorious week at Limefitt Park. Fantastic April weather! The scenery is magical when the sun shines Dubbs Reservoir Walk near Limefitt Park This glade is on the Dubbs Reservoir circular walk that can be done straight from your lodge door. Another walk we did was on Easter [...] Does this view look good to you? Troutbeck Church – just a stroll from Limefitt Park Our lodges are only a short walk away from this churchyard which is a blaze of gold at the end of March as the daffodils come out.
