It’s about this time. when the Summer Holidays are over, that people start to enquire about booking a pine lodge for a special New Year break.

It sleeps 4 people and is pet friendly. [...] Due to a cancellation we now have a full week in June available at Kingfisher Lodge again – Friday 19th June – Friday 26th June is now available for £599 + the £35 local cleaning and laundry charge. This is the last full week available in this luxury Lake District log cabin until the [...] According to today’s Daily Telegraph Traditional cottage breaks are being snapped up by Europeans who are rushing to book in record numbers this year, attracted by the devalued pound…. A rush on UK cottages could mean that cash-strapped British families hoping to holiday at home might find their choice restricted if they book late. [...] It’s now nearly 15 years since Linda & I were married. We had a particularly lovely wedding cake. A rich fruit number with fantastical icing. Since that was before the days of digital photography I don’t have a picture here for you I’m afraid. Anyway, the cake was so lovely that we couldn’t bear [...] Thinking of spending Christmas away from home – why not book a last minute luxury break at one of our two fabulous log cabins. Actually, South Lakeland Parks have an offer on [...] Luxury lodges in the Snow Ian, our neighbour up at Limefitt Park sent me this lovely picture a couple of days back. He says that he’s been walking in the sunshine today and has some more lovely pictures of the hills covered in snow. [...] Well Winter seems to be arriving – snow last weekend and now snow again today as I look out of the window.
