Today at 2 pm they are going to be flying hawks here at Limefitt Park in Troutbeck You can see some of these beauties. Falconry at Limefitt Park Midnight
and my favourite, thomas the American Kestrel Thomas Oh yes – and there’s free pony trekking for the kids too! [...] So yesterday it was hotter in the Lake District than it was in Corfu. We woke this morning to another gorgeous day. Dappled sunlight coming in through the blinds and birds twittering outside. Limefitt Park – Troutbeck Lodges We had breakfast on the deck and saw a deer saunter by. Deer Perhaps [...] We’ve just heard that the Lake District Pony Trekking centre is going to reopen at the end of this month! This used to be a very popular local facility with our guests, but it closed temporarily last year.
