Catbells – Wainright’s family fell

Earlier this week we went to Keswick for a group assault on Catbells.

As recommended by the  Divine St Julia (Bradbury)  we parked in Keswick and took the boat across Derwentwater, which gave us a great view of the fell before we started.

Ipod? IPlod?

Cumbria Tourism have just released a new CD and Book of some of Wainwright’s favourite walks. The idea is that you download the CD to your IPod and then listen to it like you might a museum guide. You can find details of how to order it here on the Go Lakes website.
